Corpses can be taken and used upon your perma death. Depending on how macabre your slayer is, you may never get it back.
If we will have saints and such, there's a good chance their body parts will end up as holy relics in various churches and temples.
And this is precisely why we'll need funeral homes &/or churches to get involved with handling of the deceased.
Also, if you want to hold a funeral or cover the cost of burial, this is why some of us will be offering life insurance ;)
I cannot wait to experiment on the corpses for my own devious interests.
Kings will probably have gigantic tombs, or cadacombs of all the great kings will be held on neutral ground. Some island somewhere.
