Alright, regardless. I paid my 10% had that total at 500, friend joined and bought, showed it at 550, paid off the full tier, should be at 5050, no? It is at 5000. It seems confusing but it will all come together I'm sure :)

Did you notice that you also got $5 as store credit when your friend used your friend code and payed his pledge? That means when you payed rest of your layaway ($450) you actually payed only $445 and used automatically the $5 store credit. This all sums up to 5000 total Influence since the store credit doesn't raise total influence when used.

Rofus is correct, when my gf paid her layaway i got my credt and on my next payment it reduced the price.

Ahh, that would be it, I didn't notice that, thank you. I was too busy choking on the exchange rate and that it was 20 more than the actual exchange. That solves it.
