Year Cycle and Festival Question

I found on the forum one Elyria year will be 7 real time days now

Since in our real world, even in ancient time, it is a norm that settlements will celebrate New Year or Good Harvest Season

will we have that for the Elyria world also? if yes, how frequent will that be? it could be strange to celebrate every week :D

I think that will probably have more to do with individual kingdoms and towns than anything structured in the coding of the game. They might mark the days for us (that'd be nice) but any celebrations will probably be localized. Births, deaths, marriages, and more, will surely bring the people together on occasion.

It seems easy enough to superimpose a larger seasonal cycle on the passing of the in-game years -- comparable to the cycle of great winters in the Game of Thrones universe.

And as a cultural practice, your kingdom could hold its great festival of renewal every 52nd winter, lining up with New Year's in the real world.

There is a tournament that is an official Elyrian "holiday" or celebration, I forget the name but it's in a DJ.
