Will be possible for a king to take over all other kingdons and become some sort of emperor?

Yes. If you can manage 100,000 people and squash hundreds of constant challengers 24/7

Well, if you have a close community of reliable friends, you could delegate and install an effective oligarchy.

well as things currently stand they said that being a king would take around 15-20 hours week to handle your duties. since there's gonna be like 4-5 kingdoms it would be very difficult for someone to manage everything. you would have to treat it like a full time job and make very efficient use of your time.

You are right steevo, it was historically, and is probably too much for one person to manage but 3 kings under one emperor is much more plausible.

And yes, I know, many empires didn't work like this, but they did more or less have a tier system of some kind going on. Which is how they were able to manage it.

The question then is, who will be the first real or defacto emperor? Will we one day have a stalemate where one family or ruler controls everything, and the pressing question is, how high will his or her death penalty be lol. They'd need to walk around in a circle of guards.

playing an emperor in a game would be easier than real life. people have been emperors before, I am sure there have been a few lazy ones as well.

Yes, there have been more bad emperors/neutral emperors than good emperors throughout history, but there's a major difference between historical emperors and theoretical emperors in CoE.

People used to be very religious as a whole, and as a result, they believed that the emperor, king, etc. was given the right to rule from God, and they had no right to challenge God's will.

Players of CoE are under no such delusion, so there's really nothing keeping constant challenges to the emperor's power from occurring, except for the threat of force.

However, gamers also don't support the weaker side because of ideology or beliefs. A lot of people will flock to the winners.

Emperor In Name maybe. I am highly skeptical of the Idea of One person being able to manage and control that many people. Its a game so no matter how many Role players are here there will always be people creating trouble just for the fun of it.

Sounds like the Daimyo and the Shogun relationship in Japan.

Shoguns had a tendency to fluctuate in actual power though, and found themselves pawns occasionally.

Haven't two people already pledged as king multiple times?
