Shake a magic 8-ball every monday and ask if CoE will release this week. Do this for the next 100 weeks or so and when it responds yes then it may have a small chance of being true. ;)
No dates have been given yet as others have said and won't be until those milestones are close at hand. but I wouldn't expect alpha for another 6 months or so. The full game not for another two years plus.

Not sure where you're coming up with 2+ years for the game to release. The studio hasn't changed their estimated release from Dec 2017. While I personally don't think that they'll hit a Dec 2017 release date, I don't think it'll take them 2+ more years either.
just from my experience with following recent crowd funded development and how they always are pushed backed a couple years from the original estimates. Also this "timeline" post that pops up periodically that has a 12-15 month gap listed after KoE is launched. That puts launch at Mid 2018 at the earliest if everything goes 100% right between now and then. I personally think Early 2019 would be a better estimate of a launch date.

yes but your also not factoring that most other indie \ crowd funded games. Have dev teams made up of noob developers. Where it is either their first game, or they have only helped make a few b rated games.
The dev team for this game pretty much all have AAA game development experience.
This is no noob team of developers, they are all seasoned in one way or another.
Though my guess is Late Q1 or Early Q2 2018 is likely when we will see it.
