My first reaction was to be pleased about the strict naming guidelines, but then I had a bunch of questions about what it will mean in practice. Are names based on real words to be banned entirely, or will it be somewhat subjective?

Is Brendan Borderlord okay but Edward Edgelord banned?

Is Bill Blacknight okay but Bruce Darknight banned?

And what about the use of real-world non-English words? (on English-speaking servers, of course)

Would Chevalier Le Noir be okay? Hiro Jimbo?

I don't ask just to test the boundaries: I had personally intended to use "Hexprone" as my unique surname. It's a little silly but it's me, and shouldn't actually break immersion -- who will decide whether it flies or no?

Will it be some individual community manager making case-by-case determinations on this kind of thing?
