Take on tribe's Nobility Clothing.

My biased take on the different tribes and their clothing, I've focused on the nobility of the different tribes and other things. (like Dras being vulnerable to sunlight etc.)

Every king/queen has their own castle. Every duke/count has their own manor. Otherwise, SBS would be going against their own backer reward promises. It's the normal folk that live in buildings described in the tribe write-ups.

Tree castles? Swamp castles? Will be interesting to see how they manage this.

Hey, anything is possible with uselessly tall trees.

If we get really technical, the ancient Aztec city of Tenochtitlan (and its temples) was built in a swamp biome.

Count Einzbern of Aichhalt.

Kingdom of Ashland.

Duchy of Sanctaphandri.

Seated in Darmindatch.

The devs could have given us this type of concept art so we could better imagine the tribes. One person did this step up your concept art game SbS

This is something

Maybe the Dras and To'resk have raised or stilted shoes so their robes don't drag on the ground while outside

this looks amazing, the only critique I have is that Janoa looks how an average warrior would look like, I'd expect nobles to have more skulls decorations and/more leather..or maybe I'm overthinking them as shamans.

"The most powerful and revered hunter among the Honored(nobility) takes the title of Prime(double kingdom, so the To'resk have the king, but this is kinda a king for the Janoa tribe) and accepts no royal guards while in the borders of his or her Dominion, as it would show weakness."

So I think the nobility probably need to be really good fighters, and therefore giving them longer clothes will hamper that, so that's why I didn't give them a more shaman look, if anything I should've probably given them more armour :P

These are fantastic! Good work. :)

Great work, Liva! I really like the To'resk and Dras interpretations.

Beautifully done.

Though I wonder if the Kypiq would wear any clothing that was loose or flappy. Makes it hard to zipline over to the next tree if your skirt is flapping in your face or the tails of your coat are caught in a branch. I imagine their clothing would be close to the body in general--branches grab at passing cloth like a hungry raccoon searching a riverbed.

Very cool! You've done a great job of distilling the resources and cultural information from the write-ups.

I love how fancy the To'resk are, although the Janoa would be excessively, even gaudily, colored. Think peacocks or birds of paradise.

We'll get official, detailed clothing concepts out for all the tribes as we continue, but some inspiration like this certainly doesn't hurt! :)

Truly inspiring, Liva!
