Tribal Equipment Exploration: Drasean Sword

Good tidings, friends,

There was quite the discussion about the Janoan shield posted last week. Let us try this sword on for size!

Each biome presents its own challenges and has different materials available. The Dras's immunity to disease affords them some advantage over what would otherwise be dangerous prey through use of cruel-looking weapons that can inflict grievous wounds. Though a target might survive the initial fight, it is often only a matter of time before they collapse from an infection festering in their wounds.

This is a fairly basic weapon that would be found commonly among the Dras. Additional adornments or higher quality materials could be used to make a fancier version.

Stay shiny,

Vye

I love that, similar to a macuahuitl. Keep up the good work!

My thoughts exactly.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you; but never forget, it is on the list.

I imagine the leather wrapping on the blade is designed to hold the poisons, grime, disease, etc.... Will get pretty gross with blood after stabbing a few people.
