Is Elyria a spherical world similar to earth

My question is about navigation related to magnetism and whether or not Elyria is a spherical world with an iron core and a set axis of rotation that would allow for magnetic compasses for navigation or are we to rely solely on the position of the sun and the stars?

more importantly, if you keep going east, do you eventually go around the world, or do you hit an edge?

Look at this brainlet, believing in a spherical world. Elyria is obviously concave, just like Earth, kappa.

Elyria is a shattered world, we are on the top half. So if you try to sail around the world, you will fall into the exposed planetary core.

Lies!

Elyria is disc shaped! Held on the back of four elephants ontop of a giant space turtle!

And we must uncover the sex of our turtle at the earliest opportunity!

Let it be a ring world, so we have the choice of circumnavigating or falling off the edge.

Each to their own, I say!

Let's be different. Let Elyria be a Cube! But a slowly-rotating one around a central axis. Then we would all be able to go mountaineering down an edge every few years...

(Don't blame me - you mad lot above started it!)

I understand it is a sphere. An 8-sphere to be precise.

When you figure out how make a sphere using perfectly square tiles, you'll make a fortune building round worlds for game companies.

Hmm...prolly flat with hitting invisible walls or forcefields if you get too far out into the max of the pre-generated ocean before the expansion/addition of new continents. Like what we see in other games :p

Right but that was old elyria, yea? Like I was under the impression we were in "new" elyria at this point.
