I started at $120, I was tempted to move up but I didn't care for the merchant rewards. I decided that I'd just trade it in for IP so just as I was about to do $150 I saw that there was one last early bird for $175. Needless to say that's where I'm sitting right now.
Honestly the merchant doesn't have much I want, but I did like the sound of extra colors for the CoA.
I went for Bloodline as my first, why I didn't go higher was due to lack of IP chart. Astronomer was my current max, and went with it a few days ago. Now to see what the full IP chart list brings to the table.
I wish I had as much money as you guys evidently do. I was pretty sure I was stuck at $25, students aren't known for being wealthy after all. I have been tempted up to $75 but I'm pretty sure that's where I'll stay because that's really breaking the bank at this stage.
I'm a college student so I went with the $75 pledge because I want a pet >.<
I bought in at the... $40 tier? Then upgraded to an early bird tier at $50, then read about exposition and drove that right up to $120, haha.
Well, there has to be some advantage to getting older! Real life comes first though, it's important to get those priorities right.
Personally, I started off as Founder, then moved up to Bloodline. Then I spotted Astronomer (a chance to name a star!). Then I came across some extra bits to add on then I gave my credit card to the dog next door. It hates me so it'll be safe there.

I started at 50, and then by the end of last night I was at 250 for Baron. Because I want to have a town.
I'm currently pledged at 120$. But I want the 225 IP on the 150$ Merchant level so I can have a small parcel of land on which to start a farm.
