Instead of a card game, how about a board game? Tak
For anyone that doesn't know, Tak is a tactical tile placing game between two players. The objective of the game is to create an unobstructed road from one end of the board to the opposite. Walls and stacked tiles add complexity. Tak was originally a fantasy concept game from the Kingkiller Chronicle series by Patrick Rothfuss. Tak is awesome and I am all for this.
