Yeah...My family still lives in Elyria, OH, so a heads up before wiping it off the map would be awesome.

It's an hour outside of Cleveland, and in a different county (Lorain) so it's not actually considered part of Cleveland. Being in the rust belt it has the same issue cities like Chicago and Detroit are suffering, loss of manufacturing or middle class wage jobs, (I think the Ford factory closed down there or cut back severely and transferred just about everything to Mexico) and there's always been a drug presence (we had sooooo many people doing the breaking bad thing when I lived there... My high school in particular had an.. Interesting reputation.) since it's about the only way to earn a decent wage, it's obviously picked up along with adjacent crime.

Most people who live there are deeply impoverished. There's "nice" parts of town, but there's very few McMansions. My daughter who attends school at Elyria Catholic had some friends commenting about CoE so I've been feeding her information - it's very possible we'll have current and not just former 'actual' Elyrians playing. (The mayor, BTW is aware of the game but is too straight laced to do anything cool with it. If you'd called this Halifax Online, I think they'd absolutely lose their shit up here.) The gamer crowd is small but very, very enthusiastic, so here's hoping! ~^_^~
