If it makes you feel better about yourself, such titles are easily obtained, but a title won't change who you are.

I know of people who have such titles. Why do you ask though?

I am a mayor in game and "belong to a clan" in RL, but I am in Canada and my family castle is in Scotland.

I am not part of a duchy however the inhabitants of Luxembourg live in a grand duchy, the inhabitants of Liechtenstein in a principality.

I am from Scotland and I can confirm there is no such thing as a 'family castle'.

Well my family was until one of my ancestors decided it would be great to sida with the danish King instead of the swedish King Gustav Vasa -_-
