I highly doubt at there will be a need to further separate people by languages, when they can chose a kingdom/duchy/barony based on that.
It has been confirmed by the studio that there will be only one EU server. If they did deicde to split the server, it would be done so based on the server population and not by language. Most, if not all, of the EU kingdoms have various different language communities.
You can find a community with your language and enjoy the game. I think the experience can be isolated enough for that.

Old Norse, damn! I heard rumours we needed to learn Gaelic so I already started a course on it. Seems I did so in vain :(.
I don't think it's necessary having servers with different languages. As people said, there are counties and communities based on that. Also, to me it's VERY interesting being in a world where people speaks different languages.
Going, for exemple, to a foreign county to sell stuff and listen to people speaking french, german, whatever gives a realistic feeling. And in every fantasy world, there is a "common language" as "Oestron" is in Tolkien universe, in this case, it's English :)

Hi Tairon! As it stands, there's going to be one EU-wide server. I'm certain that there will be German-speaking communities, if you'd prefer to play with people speaking German - maybe make a post in the Selene (EU server) sub-forum or join the Unofficial Discord to find like-minded Germanophones :)
Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.
Personally it will probally be something along the following lines :
Global (language outside your own territory) English Your own area/city/guild : Decided on by demand, if you only got germans in a town it probally be german and english to outsiders. If you got for example 2 germans 2 french and 2 dutch people it will be english.
I sure hope we will get a second European server quickly.

In all fairness, the English want out of the EU. So might as well switch to German or French :P.
I totally will support German in my city :) Seriously English will be the standard language but depending on the community there may be other languages supported.
