The Purebred makes no mention of it being breeding stock. Does this mean all mounts can now be bred off?
Reading down the post I was put off the prices of the UGC at first. But now I'm definitely considering the headstone. Kudos to you guys.

Out of curiosity - what happens if someone buys $400 worth of adventurer packs? Will the game have to generate 100 pieces of treasure dotter around the local area?
Also I love that gravestone charity idea, good move.
As many people asked before regarding the Coat of Arms, same thing applies to Housing: If you already get the furnished Villa as part of the Package, could I just pay the difference (200-120=80$) to upgrade it into a Manor?
so can you, if you don't want an item, exchange it for EP instead?
Awesome Idea with the headstones and WHO!

So the mayor package already comes with: Custom Coat of Arms, Expanded Colors, Expanded Sigils, and Heraldry - "Include Torse & Crest."
So the only thing a mayor/baron (or higher) could purchase, in regards to coat of arms, is the expanded crests? Am I understanding this correctly?
Yep.
At what point will we know what's in each package? I don't want to get the expanded crest pack just to find out that the crest I wanted was in the basic pack anyway.
Do you mean the new package, or the one you already bought? Because for the latter it's available in your profile right now.

All animals/mounts can be bred if you have the skills for it or find someone who does.

There will be no discounts for existing packages.

Caspian on Discord mentioned this:
"We're not planning (at this point), to allow people to purchases packages and then trade in the items they don't want for EP or store items, effectively allowing them to do a la carte from the other direction - gaining access to titles, dev access, or design experiences."

Are you sure about this? The description in the store still says "A purebread horse for breeding or travelling" making it appear that there is this distinction between the Purebred\Purebread (wholemeal or rye?) and the horse with saddlebags.
Will I be able to breed the plain ol' horse that came with the saddlebags with the purebred or will it be purbred+purebred only?

I'm talking about the actual items in the expanded sigils and expanded crest items. What are those? What's the difference between them? What comes in each pack?

There is a clear distinction between them, purebred horses will have better breeding stocks than horses along with being easily trained. [Source]
As for breeding them together? I say it is likely they can since they are the same species, you will just have an easier time with the purebred horse if you want quality mounts. Though another official dev confirmation would be nice on this subject.
I believe that there is also a phoenix pet, they extended the time to meet stretch goals on the site after the kickstarter and if i remember correctly we made it to the phoenix pet.
Thanks for the additional reply and source Xeyska. It surely makes sense that horses of differing quality (common-legendary) could be bred together but with differing success rates and outcomes depending on the combination and the skills of the player. Although I'm sure other variables could also be put in place; time of year, diet, climate.
Then will it still be possible for a peasant to earn a coat of arms and all the extensions during the 10 year story line? Will there be a mechanic to create your own coat of arms or will it be appointed to you when you reach a sufficient rank?

TL;DR; Yes. It's possible in a few different situations to create new surnames, and thus a new or derived Coat of Arms.
Coat of Arms are associated with every unique Surname. So if you do something in the game to allow for the derivation or creation of a new Surname, then you'll be able to either create or derive a new Coat of Arms.
Example 1. You get married. Your current surname and your new surname are combined to create a new surname. You can use your existing coat of arms to create one that is unique to your new family.
Example 2: You slay a mythical creature and become a hero of legend. You'll have the opportunity to create a new surname like Daemonsbane, etc. This will allow you to create a new coat of arms with expanded charges that match the creature you'd slain, etc.

The Phoenix was a 6th pet made available exclusively to Kickstarter backers and those who backed us on the online store for the first couple of months. Phoenix pets cannot be chosen with this a la carte item.
RE: The horses - We previously used the term purebred to indicate it was of higher quality. However, we wanted to be more descriptive about how it was higher in quality. We've done this by calling it a Courser. We will be updating the item in the store at the same time the a la carte items go on sale. It will say "Purebred Courser" just like the a la carte item.
