We are a Holy Order of Knights within the Virtori Church of Thearyn, with agreements to build Forts in other Duchies and Counties. We are a Quick Reaction Force that will deploy to any settlement under attack in order to safe guard the commoners and the Faithful.

We receive our support from both the Nobility and Commoners. All donations goes towards increased patrols, which in turn should deter banditry within our area of operations.

We shall also in select cities act as law enforcement and manage Baronies as we have been invited by the rulers there to bring law and order to their lands and we accept this honor in addition to our other duties.

Those who perform great deeds in service to the people of Alesia shall be anointed as a true Knight of the realm and enjoy the privileges and honors that come with it.

We are not only recruiting soldiers, our Order requires a multitude of people to function correctly. Farmers to grow the crops, cooks to feed the troops, a smith to forge gear. So if you would like to set up a shop inside one of our fortresses or you would like a field to farm let us know

If you want to work towards making the Kingdom a safe place, or you are a someone who simply wishes to live behind the walls of our forts for protection. We provide sanctuary to all, the weary, the downtrodden, and the forgotten.

RULES FOR THE ORDER

1. Never announce yourself as a Knight of the Order, as pride will lead to ones downfall, if you are asked directly if you are a member you may answer.

2. Never cheat anyone, as your name is all that you have and if you spoil your own name, then just like a bad apple you will spoil all those around you.

3. Be thankful for even the smallest deed that someone does for you, as it is in this gratitude that we show our humility.

4. Be generous if you are able for he who cares for his brothers shall be cared for by his brothers.

5. Be kind to those under you and treat them as you would your own children, for much like children you care for them when they are unable, and in return when you are unable they shall care for you.

6. Be fair in the justice you deal out for you shall be judged by the same measure with which you have judged others.

7. If a person captured is found guilty, they shall be granted the opportunity to pay a wergild, 4x times the amount of damage to the damaged party.

8. A person standing trial by our order has certain rights, They may choose to have their guilt or innocence determined by the judge or a jury. They have the right to remove up to three people from a jury for any reason. They also have the right to demand a different judge from the original one.

9. We defend the faithful, thus never draw your sword against another of the faith.

10. We offer the Honor of War, should conflict be the only way to settle a matter, then we shall allow all those who do not wish to take part in the battle to leave the battlefield and keep their possessions.

THE MILITARY ORGANIZATION OF THE ORDER

1. The Grandmaster oversees the diplomatic relations of the order and engages with the rulers of the realm to raise funds and supplies for the order and receives reports from the Generals under him.

2. The Generals manage all forces within a duchy, they approach the Grandmaster for all supplies that they will need for any operations that need to be conducted. They are responsible for the conduct of the troops under them as well as keeping the peace within the realms they are assigned to oversee.

3. The Captains oversee a single settlement, rather that be a fort or a town. They conduct patrols of their local area and respond to any threats. They are expected to help out the local populace as needed, as well as collect any donations that are offered to the order so that those supplies can be used to continue operations and help those in need.

4. The Lieutenant is 2nd to the Captain and has the same responsibilities as the Captain.

5. The Master Sergeant is charged with the training and maintenance of equipment of the soldiers of each Unit. They are to ensure that the soldiers within their command are of an appropriate level of skill and are equipped to deal with the threats that face the local populace.

6. The Sergeant is 2nd to the Master sergeant and has the same responsibilities as the Master Sergeant.

7. Corporal is a fully trained and equipped soldier, when a recruit is deemed to be ready by the Master Sergeant they shall be tested and upon passing the test they will receive this rank.

8. Recruit is a new member of the order who is still in training.

JUDICIAL ROLES WITHIN THE ORDER

Several rulers have asked us to take upon ourselves the role of law enforcement and justice and as such we have several legal professions that need to be filled. Those who are with the order and have taken the oath shall be given priority in the assignment of roles.
