COMMUNITY - FORUMS - LUNA GENERAL
There is no I, We are one

first the wolves, then the tigers. now, we are setting out to reach out to us. we are waerd and we want to know that we can trust us, we know that there is a silly poll out there saying we are the least liked tribe but that does not concern us, we are the shadows in the light, we need to know who is with us, let us know here, we look forward to meeting us. We are watching, we are always watching.

you are the guy i want to talk to. I am ok with The Waerd but there are some things I dont like about them like the whole giving your things to other people. If I have a sword and someone says I like that give it to me. are we the player to say ok? thats silly. But the RPG element for them is so much fun

It's more of a community thing. "If I have a sword"; you would never have a sword to begin with. If you need a sword, you would take it from the community pool of weapons. No one should be asking for the weapon that you are using unless the pool of weapons has been expended, in which case the issue is more that whoever makes weapons hasn't made enough or the people who provide materials to the weapon maker's aren't providing enough materials. A piece of the system is broken and needs to be fixed.

The main issue that I have with this sort of community is the trust factor. There is pretty much nothing to prevent someone from abusing the system, stealing everything, and selling it in a nearby town for their own gain. Granted, if that was the case, then it is likely that that person would be caste out of the system, but that punishment doesn't replace the stolen goods.

The positive side is that, with it being very community driven, the level of teamwork and lack of division will make for a very formidable enemy.

It is an interesting society and I look forward to seeing examples of it "working"; but it will be an unusual existence for some people, for sure.

Have you heard some major changes may be coming to part of the Waerd's social/economic/ownership structure? Have any ideas or suggestions for the way you'd like to see Waerd evolve? I really liked them at first because they felt 'close', a version of Native Americans in some way, buuut, then some weird mechanics came into play and the pros for me were starting to get outweighed, especially when I went up in 'ownership of assets', more concerns, etc etc. Still doing a whole socialism sort of thing with Neran/To'resk regardless :P

things are things, we are waerd, possession is a construct. a sword in the hand is a sword in the hand, we both cannot use the same sword at the same time nor would we ask for the sword unless we needed it, to like something does not equate to needing it. If something is on our body it is us, it is waerd until it is no longer on us, then it is ours.

we appreciate the offer but we must respectfully decline, to take up arms for personal valor would disrespect the two-fold queen, there is only great work to be done.

I'm not sure if i'll become a weard, but I might.
Though, I am definitly looking for some weards who like to become doyan (like maesters in GoT).

Waerds are probably the most suited for that role, as the weard have many skills that help in this role.
