Located in the heart of Tyria, the County of Avalon has been known for generations as a prosperous and peaceful land, with its capital city of Alderburg the apex of its cultural and technological wealth. While the focus of Avalon is not based on any religious principles or institutions, there is no outright ban on religion.

Outside of the capital city, much of Avalon is a blank canvas, ready to be made into a marvel of this world. Any mayors/barons or gentry that feel like Avalon is the place for them may find ample space here to carve out their dream settlement.
These esteemed individuals are chosen by the Count himself to advise him on their various matters, and have a seat and voice at the table in council meetings. Gentry/Aristocracy are preferred for these roles because of their larger stake in the County, any citizen who could prove themselves tremendously is welcome to apply.
To be eligible you must reside within the lands of the capital or near enough for you to regularly attend meetings
Chancellor: (Vacant) This individual acts as the right hand man of the Count, assisting in the running of the household, and acts as Count in the Count's absence.
Emissary: (Arakasi Dubois) This individual acts as the official messenger and ambassador for the Count on various diplomatic missions when he cannot be there.
Master-at-Arms: (Guthard) This individual is responsible for the training of soldiers in a castle in peace time, this can includes sons and wards of the Count. In war time he is actively involved in leading the defense of the realm.
Treasurer: (Vacant) This individual is responsible for the management of the household treasury and tax collection.
Loremaster: (Vacant) This individual is responsible for the keeping of records and acts as an adviser on all matters scientific, medical, and historical.
Justiciar: (Vacant) This individual is responsible for drafting County laws and ordinance for the count, and overseeing the integrity of the justice systems in place.
Warden: (Vacant) This individual is responsible for protecting the Count from any harm at all times. Extensive combat training and a keen eye for danger required.

If the promise of innovation, research, and exploration isn't enough for you, you'll find that Alderburg is home to numerous taverns, ripe with ale, companionship, and work to be had for the adventurers and of the world. Count Beaumont is also a patron of the arts, and welcomes those with fiery passion of creation in their souls to demonstrate their skills in his city.
For those that will be hungry for PvP, there will also be numerous guard and bounty hunter positions available; crime will not be tolerated here, and justice will be swift but fair. We will also defer to the Kingdom and Duchy's law systems on rights of Aristocracy, Gentry, and Citizens.
While the County capital is focused on industry, technology, and arts/guilds, the backbone of any County lies in its farmers, laborers, and artisans. As such, all levels of society are welcome as long they are willing to work hard and support the Count and his vision for society. We also welcome any guilds and organizations that fit in well, are looking for a place to call home.
All citizens of Avalon must pledge loyalty to their Mayor/Baron, and the Count, Duke, and King who reign over the realm. Registration with the Kingdom website is required as is use of the settlement Discord. Use of Duchy and Kingdom Discord is encouraged as well.
