Wizarding World RolePlay
Welcome to the Wizarding World!

(Like, yeah, I know unrelated. Just chill for a moment, ok?)

While we are all waiting for Chronicles of Elyria to descend down upon us like the next coming of Christ, I got bored and created a roleplay server set in the Wizarding World. Anyone can join, the discord link is at the bottom.

In our Roleplay, we aim to answer the question: "What would happen if Harry also got knocked after He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was initially defeated?" The Wizarding World does not have its chosen one, so who will brave the perils of Hogwarts? Who will almost get eaten by a three headed dog, a giant spider, a huge snake, dementors, dragons, a hedge maze, those brain things you didn't see in the movies, etc etc. Who will battle against death eaters or join them? Who will fight over the Elder Wand and who will snap it in half and toss it away like a punk? Who will destroy Lord Voldemort and become the Wizarding World's famed hero or the next villain?

Well, you. Obviously.

The Storybook

Introduction:

Let us live out a famed tale spun anew. Behold the Wizarding World, vibrant and bright, living out a brief age of peace and solace. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has been defeated or banished, but it came at the terrible cost of the entire Potter Family. James Potter, bold and headstrong. Lily Potter, brave and loving. Harry Potter, the best of both of them. On that bittersweet night, many cheered over the defeat of the Wizarding World's most heinous villain, but many also wept salty tears at the tragic loss of such beloved people. The day be July 31st, 1991, a day before the Hogwarts Express leaves for Hogwarts and you haven't even been to Gringotts yet.

Year 1: Who Hangs Within The Mirror?
Chapter 1: I Don't Want to Go

As September comes ever closer, the bustling city of London seems to become even more hectic. There are more people in the street than ever and you get the impression that they are not entirely local. The robes and strange hats kinda give it away. However, the muggles seem not to notice this peculiar rise of old fashioned attire and those that do are quick to dismiss it. Regardless, the crowds are the very least of your worries right now. The start of your first term in Hogwarts is right around the corner and procrastination has gotten the better of you. As you enter #ic-the-leaky-cauldron , you can feel the pressure starting to build in your stomach. What if all the books are sold out, the best pets taken away, the only wands left are old and used?

Beams of sunlight pierce through the moving bricks and spread across like a curtain, revealing Diagon Alley in all its splendor. All of the buildings seem to have a whimsical, odd tilt to them, looking as though they could topple over on the crowded street below them. The place is flamboyantly colored and everything looks as though it wants to move, stationary or not. As you enter #ic-the-alley , owls fly over head, crowds brush past you, and magic is shown proudly. This is the perfect place to get your money, wand, robes, scales, vials, quills, books, pets, etc.
