PAX WEST: Blood of Blackheart, Blood of Elyria, friends, allies, opponents and enemies...we expect to meet you all for a fun weekend in Seattle!!
One by one, the royal servants loaded te carriage with coffers bearing the insignia that defined Blackheart Kingdom. They all halted their duties when she emerged from the entrance. The womann in the long dress the color of the deepest ocean, of the darkest night. She wore a lace veil depicting the sigils of all her enemies. The Queen’s veil mourned, in advance, the destruction of all who opposed her Blood. Rowena did not yearn to summon spirits of war and destruction to this world, but one thing the monarch knew far too well, and that was ‘sometimes mann must fight for his beliefs, with every ounce of strength, and until the last drop of blood is spilled’.
“Your Highness” Archduke Driscoll of Featherfell saluted “preparations are ready. Archduchess Tenslea of Drakeolm and her guards are here. Lady Narkari
And an envoy from Whisperwind accompany Archduke Kenbu. The Master of Death awaits inside your carriage.”
“Then announce to all five winds we depart” the Crowned womann spoke.
“Five winds?” Archduke Driscoll smiled curiously “I only know the North, South, East and West...”
“Ah, then you ignore the most important and most powerful of them all, the relentless and inevitable wind of fate...” her eyes of molten gold teased his own before she placed the first foot on the carriage, as the hulking presence of The Shield opened the door for her.
“Your Majesty” the strangely seductive and yet firm voice of the red haired, Ilhar Kal’Dakka, Archduchess of Olath Valm, asked “are you ready to take over the world?”
Sitting calmly inside her carriage, Queen Rowena of the Black Heart lifted her chin. That golden iris appeared in the corner of her eye as she replied “Oh dear, the world is already ours. They just don’t know it yet. We travel West today...to remind them.”
Dozens of carriages left, through unknown lands, to meet unknown people, under even more unknown circumstances. But all of these things would be eventually known. There was only one thing the black heart of the Queen of Blood would never know, and that was ‘defeat’.
(See you all at Pax West)
