Battle Born is a pvp focused group made of both combat and combat support roles. Not every member has to enjoy combat in order to build a cohesive community. As long as we get along and you are willing to participate towards the benefit of the organization, you are welcome and we will find you a mutually beneficial role.
Our combat philosophy is fairly simple: anti-zerg. The zerg mentality fosters complacency in individuals who think they are safe because there are hundreds of players fighting under the same banner. Unfortunately hundreds of players won't be eating, sleeping, or traveling as one, and won't be doomstacking onto a single coordinate. This is where Battle Born exists. Our combat players will specialize in small unit tactics within hostile territory. It will be dangerous, but it will be fun.
Support players will base out of our walled compound within the home settlement. Whether you want to craft, build, or adventure in a more stable environment, this will be your home.
We are only loyal to ourselves. Just kidding, in return for community for our support members we have pledged to fight for our Nobles when called upon.
The following are anticipated roles for the organization:
Intelligence Officer - Battle Born has compiled an extensive database of strengths and weaknesses of potential targets. The Intelligence Officer is expected to continue gathering data as well as analyzing it alongside leadership.
Reconnaissance Officer - The recon officer will be tasked with ensuring we have properly scouted and mapped the primary areas of operation. You will plan with leadership in order to determine the best course of action for scheduled missions and will assume the role of lead scout during such actions.
Head Blacksmith - This position is expected to forge weapons/armor as well as identify and acquire materials/tools that will be needed for projects. Battle Born will provide funds and labor, but you will be expected to take the initiative of organizing working parties and supply runs.
Head Architect - The basis of the Battle Born compound will be created during exposition, however, defensive expansions never end. You will be expected to maintain an architect character and provide blueprints for advanced structures. You will also work alongside leadership to develop our underground territory.
