From what I have "unofficially" heard in various places has got me thinking...so I thought I might share those thoughts.

And this in no way is intended to support, promote, or disparage any one Kingdom as I am currently non-aligned to any. I'm just tossing this out there because it crossed my mind and I thought it might be something some might like to discuss before the map selection has been made.

We are all aware of the unique position that the Kingdom of Vornair has in regards to this server. They are the only double Kingdom and they do the first two pick in regards to selecting their Kingdoms location. Love it or hate it, that is the situation.

Many have voiced thoughts that they believe the Vornairians will wish to select the biome containing the Brudvir as that tribe seems to most resemble the "theme" they have developed so far. And that assumption leads most to believe that Kingdom 1 would be one of their two selections.

I have also heard speculation that this would logically lead them to select Kingdom 2 with their other selection as it would consolidate all the Hrothi and Brudvir holdings together. That does make sense for a number of reasons.

But what if the selection wasn't Kingdom 2 but Kingdom 3?

How would the connecting of those two particular Kingdoms into one look on the maps under consideration?

Would the increase in tribal diversity actually be more advantageous?

Would this turn Kingdom 2 into a "rump" kingdom of Vornair?

Or would it turn it into a target?

How would this effect cross continental travel regarding the natural "choke points" discussed regarding certain particular maps?

What other issues for the whole server would this create?

Again, I'm not taking any position one way or another...just thinking that as much as these issues might effect all the players on this server that they probably should get discussed and analyzed...before the time to do so has passed.

What are anyone else's thoughts?
