INTRODUCTION:

The Duchy of Thanatos is ruled over by the Emperor Vaizer of House Phoenix, it is the capital Duchy of the Empire of Demalion Which consists of four Duchies. We are aiming to choose mixed biomes of grasslands, alpines & mountains in the middle of the Empire. We have four duchies three already merged the fourth will be merged after the game released. We intend to extend in the future. Our goal is to focus on all with more attentiveness to trade, economy, adventuring and research to support and flourish our Empire and military in its growth and development.

Ethics of the Duchy:

• All citizens should respect & follow the principles of the Empire (Courage, Trust, Loyalty, and Generosity.
• The Counts will have the freedom of choice within their counties. The (Emperor or his representative) will not intervene in this unless there are situations that require intervention.
• The law of the Thanatos must be followed strictly by all and it will be based upon the legislation of the Empire.
• Taxes will be paid by each level of Nobility. The rate will be fair, except in times of war. We expect cooperation by all in the time of War! The taxes taken will be used to protect the citizens from any danger.
• Everyone is welcome in Thanatos, especially the Skilled, talented and ambitious players.
• All natural resources will be protected and controlled to prevent excessive consumption.

Trade and Economy:

We are aiming to build a strong and diversified economy supported by numerous and various land where we will support all craftsmen starting from agriculture and animal husbandry products etc. Build a safe & gigantic trading centre to attract traders and create a prolific commercial environment. Providing commercial routes between the counties and cities of the Duchy to the capital of the empire. Provide paved commercial roads that facilitate the movement of goods from and to the internal cities of the duchy.

Adventuring:

The duchy is considered as the mother duchy for Demalion, which has a vast area where it will be the biggest duchy in the Empire, to ensure the best investment of this area and its wealth of animal and forests, minerals, we must take care of exploring the duchy resources and mapping the terrains of it because that will help in determining duchy resources such as iron, gold, jewels, animals, also in building the roads which will improve the travels inside the duchy and profit both traders, military, determine dangerous places. Providing maps and information of these sites will help in protecting the citizens.

Military & Garrisons :

The large surveyor and expected commercial activity in the lands of the Duchy and its sensitive location pose a challenge in the protection of all these huge lands. Therefore, we intend to put the tasks assigned to this section as follows: *Defining a clear structure and titles to focus on training and providing the necessary weapons to protect the duchy and its interests. *Protect trade routes and make border patrols. *Build Garrisons on commercial centres and sensitive roads such as gold mines and others *Destroy the danger by ensuring the right punishment to road cutters and those who are out of justice, which will be provided by the exploration department *Achieving justice

THE DUCHY’S STRUCTURE:

High Lord:

A reliable person, will be appointed by the Duke, considered as the Duke if the Duke was not present, he has the highest authority after the Duke.

The prophet:

A skilled person who speaks for the Duke outside & inside the Duchy.

The Lords:

The Duchy of Thanatos has a lords system, the Lord will be the one who leads and takes care of one of the Duke’s duchies.

Lord Council:

The Duchy of Thanatos has a council where the Lords and the High Lord discuss the internal/external matters of the Duchy under the Duke supervision.

Internal Messenger:

A trusted person, who has the responsibility to transfer the prophet words inside the duchy.

External Messenger:

A trusted person, who has the responsibility to transfer the prophet words outside the duchy.

WHY JOIN US:

The Duchy of Thanatos will be the capital of the Demalion Empire, it will provide all the tribes of Kingdoms one and two, it will be in the middle of the empire which makes it the best starting point for players. Also, we have a fair system that acknowledges and rewards hard workers and helpers of our community whatever his or her title is will be rewarded as much as they put in for the effort.
