As a former peasant of the ruthless tyrant that is King Adam Rhyne. I wholeheartedly agree with the description that you have laid out before us.

But, to call him sly or cunning is giving the man too much credit. If he was sly or cunning he would not have been as ruthless as he was to Duke Bombastus. His treatment of Bombastus then belief that the counts and other members of his duchy would be so blind as to go along with him after he threw out one of his dukes, who is to be in charge of a dual duchy. He attempted to use his mindless lackeys (Vestan Drake) to convince us that his decision to remove Bombastus was rational and well thought out. Yet, when we discussed with other dukes in Vornair they were caught off guard by the suddenness of the decision. They claimed we should not be fearful of what we believed to be a means of destroying the chances of Bombastus to have a successful start, as most duchies in the other kingdoms had already laid claims to their territories. They claimed this move was a long time coming, but why wait until he knew that most of the other kingdoms duchies had laid claim to their land selections. Why, think we would be loyal to a king who did not discuss these events with us for a few days afterwards but sent his vessels to run interference and keep us loyal to this heartless fool.

Adam attempted to ruin Bombastus for what appears to have been a petty decision. He is not a King you should trust, because you could be the next Bombastus, whom he removed for "personality conflicts."

P.S. Death to Vornair and its blind followers.
