They wouldn't have jousting, no. That is very specific to the European Middle Ages, which the Neran are modeled after, and it's probably only suitable to their biomes. You're not going to see jousting tournaments in the desert or deep in the jungles and swamps, for instance.

Well, maybe in the deserts, if there are places with enough food and water for the mounts. I don't think it would be a Waerd avocation, though.
