The Ranchers Guild of Alesia is a kingdom wide organization for all ranchers in Alesia to gather and share information about local wildlife, rare creatures, and animal husbandry.
_The term “Rancher” in this sense is defined as: _
A person who tames and breeds wild and domestic creatures to sell as pets or mounts
A person who raises livestock for production of meat.
The Alesian Ranchers will work closely with adventurers to obtain key information of their discoveries of new creatures and sightings. Adventurers without the intention of ranching are still welcome to join the guild as this cooperation will be vital in the progression of the Kingdom's pet/mount trade as well as the survival of endangered creatures.
The focus of the guild is to contribute and be a vital asset in Alesia’s economy through meat and pet/mount trades. To do so we will need to work together on sharing information and new tactics that we’ve found to better find, capture, and care for our animals for the good of the realm.
Not only will ranchers have a hand in providing sustainable meat production, but they will also have a pivotal role in the preservation of the kingdom's wild native species. Conservation will be top priority because without a conscious and active mind on preserving the wild populations then our kingdom as a whole will suffer.
All who join the guild pledge to do their best in stopping the destruction and extinction of the various wild populations of native species in the kingdom. They pledge to not take more from the wild than what is necessary for their trade and when a species becomes marked as endangered, all will come together to help bring the species back by breeding and reintegration to the wild.
The Ranchers Guild was founded in Flamel after Count Flanagan liberated what is now called the County of Keplr from the Xeilian reign. Taking advantage of the growing capital, a local Brudvir rancher by the name of Eona Vardenear established the guild to bring all ranchers and adventurers in Alesia together with the intention of sharing their knowledge with one another and growing for the good of the kingdom.
