I'm playing local, but a friend of mine is NA-E playing on NA-W. Seems like that will be pretty common. I'm curious what pings will look like for cross-continent connections and how much it will affect gameplay.

I just wanted to add, not that i am plugging it or not but I use Exitlag for my games from China to play with friends in states. It takes my ping form 250s-300s to 39. When the game comes out you send them a file while playing and they add the server to their server list to lower Ping
I am in Nebraska and will likely have several from Arkansas in my Community. I play Life is Feudal and at least 3-4 are from Arkansas in my guild and are committed to joining my county. EU playing NA-W here. Hopefully, the lag won't be much of an issue :)
Played high ping on LiF and that went okay, so maybe 250+ won't be that much of an issue, will be more down to server responsiveness.

Yeah, my people are doing a bit of a Viking theme as well. That's why I picked out this picture to represent my character for the time being.

US Central Playing Eu. Not too concerned with ping as I have always played my games on EU before and never had an issue.
