As a fan of all things Dras I support this notion.

But as a self proclaimed realist I don't think it will happen unless they are running out of other shit to talk about or a dev swings by this thread and is super bored.

The salt marsh is counterpoint to the bog as the biome in question directly correlates to having access to the ocean, and as it's not something that is relevant to the entire community as not all servers have one biome or the other I don't think we will see anything on the bog Or the salt marsh, much to my displeasure as I've been a fan of the bog since the idea was planted in my head.

Anyways, I'd love to see info, +1, but I'm not holding my breath.

Not quite. During map voting last year we picked from various maps for which ones would be our servers, a variant biome on these maps was the salt marsh/bog with each map having one of them but not the other depending on if the biome had coastal access or not.

Oddly enough NA-W had its biome labeled as salt marsh incorrectly during voting but it was confirmed before the votes were cast that it was in fact a bog.

No, salt marsh and bog are similar, but not the same.

A starting continent either has Salt Marsh or Bog, not both (although it may be possible to have microbiomes of one in the other I suppose).

If this is a question with regard to my statement of the na-w bog being mislabeled during map voting, then no. Only na-w was mislabeled and all server maps on the dss site are accurate with regard to biomes.

NA-W and OCE have bog
NA-E and EU have salt marsh
