What would be your weapon of choice to master in combat?

As a Blacksmith, what would be your weapon of choice to be master crafter of?

Personally, I would love to fight with a Glaive. And if not a Glaive, then a Halberd. But preferably a Glaive, due to its agility and spear/sword-like properties. With what I plan to hunt, I would prefer to be able to keep them at a 6-foot pole distance, so to speak.

I've always loved a bow and arrows. I've always been a support role in the team and nothing is better than nailing someone right smack in between the eyes with an arrow!

Good ol'fashioned 120lb Draw Welsh Longbow,add in a re-curve and you've got arrows with 180-220lbs of force behind them. Makes short work of any armour.

I've always had a soft spot for polearms :) Other than that, rapiers are pretty classy.

I'm with Elf, Magic would be my first choice. However, being that is highly unlikely, I would go with either a Rapier or Katana.

Definitely want to dual wield. Mainly swords or depending on how the daggers are in this game. Like my post about being a samurai or Ronim I hope there will be katanas.
