How far can a bee fly?

What is the radius for pollination from a bee box? Would one box be enough for an entire farm? One box for a town with multiple fields? How far does that pollination goodness get and does it get stronger with more bees?

yeah i would like to know some of the intended mechanics and such behind these bee's since they have clearly become a bigger thing then I thought they would be.

Serpentius replied in the event thread.

From Snipehunter in Discord yesterday at 3:01pm PT: "Cardinal bees that aren't swarming have about a 1km range, but that's not in any way a settled number to be fair."

So some idea at least. Pretty far really, even if that number isn't in stone.

Normal bees on a still day can fly in a 5 km radius.

"What do you mean? An African or European,,,Bee?"

"How do you know so much about...Bees?"

"Well. you have to know these things when you're a king, you know."

I'm paraphrasing, but you get the drift.
