Purpose
Harrholm exists to provide the rest of the county with the necessary goods it needs to thrive, raid, explore, and expand. As a member of the town and county it provides you with aid in your trade, a spot in our raids, and company in our explorations. As a citizen it provides you with the freedom to seek the greatest amount of riches you can muster. Pay your taxes and obey the simplest of laws and otherwise we won't ask where your goods come from. If you plan on fencing goods, playing the market, managing import / export goods, or simply putting up your wares from adventuring, we want you as a citizen.
The County of Haellsvang has a need for trades-folk dedicated to woodwork and farming. Since the rest of the county is dedicated towards research, combat, and metalwork it falls to Harrholm to fill in this niche. Interested members and citizens willing to fill this roll will be provided with all the support they could ever wish for (if members) and/or an extremely fair and profitable opportunity (if citizens). The differentiation between citizens and members will be described further down this recruitment post.
While the town has specific needs, we are open to all trades and professions. As a market economy the support and profits you will receive is relative to the demand you are filling.
Harrholm is also open to adventurers, warriors, and explorers. Citizens and members can enjoy the relative safety of a market town home, sell their services or wares, or petition to join the Reavers.
Citizens and Members
There are two ways to join the town, as a free citizen or as a member. Regardless of which you chose everyone shares the same entitlement to protection within our walls and are expected the minimal amount of tax rates and obligation to defend your home. Both are free and encouraged to seek their fortunes.
A free citizen is someone who wishes to live and operate within Harrholm but otherwise wants to remain autonomous. They live, work, and trade within the town but otherwise have the minimal amount of obligations.
A member is a citizen who wishes to interact more closely with the Reavers, the multi gaming clan that hosts the county and town they live in. The Reavers are a current gaming group that enjoys small scale proactive pvp combat and has members dedicated to team oriented goals.
