Purpose

Aegistraad is the capitol of the county of Haellsvang. It's primary focus is on government (the running and maintenance of the county) and is where most in person deliberations for the territories it controls will be held. It's primary area of expertise is research, specifically specializing in seafaring. Other areas of research and trades will be supported on a county need basis. It is also the home of the Reavers, the small viking style combat unit focused on unconventional or specialized pvp.

The city appeals to team oriented pvp enthusiasts that are used to and acceptable to taking direction (as well as working towards coordinated goals). Beyond that research will be supported by both the county and the duchy to the best of their abilities. Mostly concentrating on the research and trades required to navigate the seas, Aegistraad welcomes and will appeal greatly to those that want to research in its universities or build by its docks.

The focus on team oriented can not be overstated. If you are interested in this barony but do not feel like you have experience or interest in its primary focuses do not be discouraged. While not a market town or the house of the formal military, it has need of support in many varied areas. The only important skill you need is a desire to work with others towards a coordinated goal.
