Warring empires will rise and fall, but our masterpieces will last throughout the ages. Our purpose is clear—to be the pinnacle of quality in all areas of the mortal crafts. Whether the people require magnificent designs for their garb, detailed maps of the land, or devastating mechanisms of war, we will provide… for a price.
We seek those of any craft who value quality, integrity, and community.
Apprentices – all individuals wishing to join the Grand Forge will begin their journey as an Apprentice. They will work alongside and be guided by the Masters and Council Members (aka 'the Grands'), until they are deemed worthy of a promotion to Journeyman status by showing activity and dedication to the guild.
Journeymen – the majority of guild members will fall into this category. Journeymen work alongside the masters and Grands to hone their craft. They will have expanded access to guild materials and recipes.
Masters – these are the full members of the guild, with access to the most advanced materials and technology available to the guild. They are the most relied upon of all guild crafters, and will be called upon by name from across the lands. To progress to the rank of Master, a Journeyman will be required to produce a masterpiece, or craft of exceptional quality or uniqueness. Their candidacy for Master would then be assessed by the Council and voted on.
The Grand Forge will be located in the Kingdom of Aranor. May our lands forever prosper.
This guild is intended for those aged 18 and older (though in rare cases exceptions may be made).
