[NA-E] Death Wardens

Death Wardens are Knights that are elites in all areas of combat but will specialize specifically in bodyguard detail (Nobility, high - value targets, etc.), Armed escort of various kind (Traveling merchants to Military caravans), Border patrols, and Mercenary like work. Death Wardens do not fear death, as they are death itself. They have the structure of the Praetorian Guard and the nerve of steel of the Triarii of the Roman Legion.

Note: Death Wardens is a PvP combat focus organization, so will be no RP allow in this organization

The Mark of Death:

A black rose tattoo worn by official members of the Death Wardens to show their allegiance toward the organization. Any who wear the mark of Death instantly receives full citizenship and a discount at all vendors (numbers still being determined) within Grimsgil. Though, you must remain in the organization of the length of your character’s lifespan and must be causally active keep such privileges.

Brief history of The Death Wardens

The Death Wardens was established by Ulf Gierdot who is current the Baron of Grimgil.They were created to allow Elite soldiers to stand out and provide services to the community in a way they couldn't through the military. As for the black rose, it was chosen solely for what it represents in real life through myth and legends. The black rose is believed to be the symbol of death, as any who had seen or touch one had died soon after so. Given it, the perfect reason to represents us Death Wardens in Chronicles of Elyria.

Council > Commander > Captain > Sergeant > Corporal > Guardsman > Recruit

Council of Death

The Council of Death is filled by 7 of the most Notorious members of the Death Wardens and deals with all political situation the organization is involved in and will give a Commander sensitive mission for him to assign a regiment too.The Council of Death will also be in charge of court marshaling members who have failed to uphold Death Wardens way.

Commander

Commander is the highest ranking officer of the Knights. There may only be one commander of the Death Wardens at a given time. Above all other functions, the commander acts as a liaison with the hierarchy of the Death Wardens and also the political class. The commander reports directly to the Council of Death and also has the ears of the ruling council. This position is filled by the decree of the Council of Death.

Captain

The captain of the town guard is the highest rank that can be achieved in theDeath Wardens without needing the appointment from the Council. A captain is a veteran officer who has won the respect of his fellow knights by showing exceptional courage and leadership in the past. He or she is considered reliable beyond a shadow of the doubt and is passionate about his duties.

Sergeant

The sergeant is a ranking officer of the Death Wardens who is a veteran knight or corporal that has shown leadership qualities. As a sergeant, you report directly to the captain of the Death Wardens. The sergeant also acts as a leader of a garrison.

Corporal

Corporal is a special rank that is earned by those who have shown exceptional qualities as a knight. A corporal is respected amongst the regiment and is considered to be a junior officer. Besides the usual duty of a knight, a corporal takes on additional duties such as recruitment to the Death Wardens and overseeing the logistics of running a garrison. A corporal is assigned to a particular town, but it is not uncommon for them to visit other cities.

Guardsman

Upon successful completion of the Trials of Death, the recruit will achieve the rank of the guardsman. Guardsman is the most commonly seen position, besides a recruit. At this rank, you represent your garrison and your commander. You may also give out orders to the ones rank below you. As a Guardsman, you are enthusiastic about maintaining the peace in the town and are quick to step in when needed. You are town’s first line of defense and as such are expected to defend it till help arrives. A guardsman is assigned to a garrison of a particular city.

Recruit

The recruit is the rank given to all trainee Death Wardens! Bottom of the barrel, if you may. As a recruit, you will not only be expected to follow the commands of your superior but often also the whims of insufferable superiors. A recruit is expected to perform all the duties of a Guardsman without the authority of actually being one.

To progress, you must show initiative. Upon the discretion of your superior and only after two weeks of recruit duty, you will be allowed to participate in a series of tests known as Trials of Death. Your performance in these tests will decide your future with the Death Wardens.
