We believe in ideals of honor, valor, and charity. We are mature at all times, though in the thick of battle we are determined, rowdy, and unstoppable. We enjoy ourselves, yet we endeavor to make sure everyone involved is enjoying things too. We stand tall, proud, and refined in the face of strangers, but we are jovial, gregarious, and dauntless as friends. We support one another, and we salute our enemies. We adhere to standards of good taste, but we may laugh and joke as well. We are fighters, and our loyalty lies with the Emperor, the Imperium, and each other. We bring the hope of the Vanir to our friends, and the vengeance of the Æsir to our foes. We stand beside the forces of light and hope when the torrential forces of Ragnarok come bearing down upon us. We will stand for a millenia, together, through victory and defeat. We are the Warriors of Æsir.
The Clan was founded on June 1st, 2001, by Lord Dane Grimling The Proud on StarCraft: Brood War. Since then, the Clan has had a presence on a wide variety of games, ranging from World of Warcraft to Mechwarrior Online. Currently, the Clan is lead by Emperor Vestborgr Asoto Leitling, and the majority of our members can be found playing League of Legends and a number of Steam games.
We hope to create a community of loyal friends with goals that will be broad in scope. We plan to have dedicated warriors, excellent craftspeople, and hardy sailors, all working towards the betterment of each other. No matter your desired play style, there is a place for you among us.
We hope to field a large company of warriors, funded by one of our members, Solljós Malthus Jörmling, Count of Æsiraa, and peer of the Duchy of BloodOak. This company of Warriors will fight for glory and honor in competition and in war.
The Warriors of Æsir has a unique culture, in which we track the recruitment of members by dividing into the House and Family of their recruiter. We also employ an Old Norse Viking theme in our names. So, Vestborgr Asoto Leitling has taken on the names Vestborgr and Asoto over the years, and Leitling is his surname.
Currently, the Warriors of Æsir has three, Houses Cammander, Dippity, and Dane. The names are derived from their founding members.
