The problem would be the ships having been used primarily for coastal and fishing activity they were without a means to cross the ocean. Eric developed a new technology to create a thicker and more angled hull, implemented more sails into his ships and thus came the first ship to Thatcher shipping.
Over the years Eric focused primarily on the inner cities and villages to produce wealth to build a fleet of ships in hopes to gather more employees and followers. Dreamers like him who sought a better life, a more fulfilling life of adventure.
Fast forward to today and Thatcher shipping is the center of all shipbuilding, courier, trade based contracts. This service is fast, reliable, and trustworthy. We simply require you to understand the following rules:
Payment of 1 Elyrian year (1 IRL week) is required up front to the foreman.
Failure to pay or cancel your service prior to the 7th day results in seizure of goods within the warehouse.
If you are late on payment you have 1 Elyrian year (1 IRL week) after which you're allowed to purchase your goods back for the standard payment + late fee's (to be determined once game is out). After this 2nd consecutive week your goods are forfeit and TSE has the right to claim ownership of abandoned goods.
One of the primary things that Thatcher shipping seeks to invest in is colonization and resource management. As ports begin to be built we'll look to lease our land out to allow for you to harvest the goods of the lands for a fee. If you so wish you are more then welcome to also employ our people to ship it for you for a heavily discounted fee.
Now, with all great companies you also need to fill the ranks with great individuals. Thatcher shipping is seeking out employee's who would live within the Atrein county at the capital port city of Mira until we are able to expand further shipping cells into other kingdoms.
VP of Marketing:
We seek an outgoing, friendly, and informed individual to head our marketing department to get the word of Thatcher shipping out there. Job duties include but are not limited to: Marketing and sales agendas, Photoshop or graphic design experience to create ads that pop for our clients. Web design experience to create a functioning website to process orders quickly and efficiently.
Foreman:
Manager of the dockyard. Duties include managing shipwright employees, processing orders for ships to be crafted and made as well as aide in selling rental options at the warehouse.
Logistics officer:
In charge of managing all shipping items and orders and employing the contractors to carry out the missions. Responsible for managing exploratory missions and charting new locations for the companies manifests. Includes providing details of the islands such as resources, threat level, location, inhabitable or not.
Logistics worker:
The main force of Thatcher shipping is here. You will be in charge of delivering the products quickly and efficiently to our clients. Masters of the high seas you know nothing of fear on the open ocean.
Explore:
Your task is to take a ship provided by Thatcher shipping and chart the islands and resource deposits that you'll report back to the Logistic's officer to establish new ports and outposts for the company.
Laborer:
General employee that will be responsible for gathering the materials and bringing them to various outposts and ports so other positions may build the products.

Which Kingdom and City is this guild based in, please, I am interested in setting things up.
The kingdom is Alésia however the duchy is TBD. The goal is to establish a port within every kingdom however but we are going to aim more locally and place ourselves in a few duchies and counties so we can recruit a broader audience and ensure we can bring fast and reliable services to our customers regardless of location.
As the warehouses should be stocked with a standard amount of goods it would only be specialty items such as biome specific, rare, and special orders that would be required to be shipped from one port to another. Standard things such as food, resources, etc. Should be stockpiled to allow for easy sales for everyone.

Tonight is a milestone for the company.
