The Knights of the Sunrise Order have existed in Rahlmont since its first mention in recent history, during the time of Zygethia. Their vows bind them to serve and protect the current ruling Lord, while upholding honor and the chivalric codes renowned in the County. They swear to be brave and just, and to defend the innocent, the weak, and children. Thus the Sunrise Order had roamed the lands of Rahlmont for centuries, and the tales of their adventures only sing them praise, earning them a high reputation. They have also been known for serving as household knights, taking service under a certain Lord in the County. And sometimes, those that are deemed worthy for their heroic deeds can achieve the titles of landed knights, being granted possession of a holdfast or keep in the County, or sometimes a smaller parcel of land to uphold.
The Coyote Company is a mercenary group which has recently made it's headquarters in the County. They were hired by Count Layne after his victory in the battle for Tenarath, to accompany him and the Duke's armies and assist them in liberating Rahlmont. And while a sellsword always owes allegiances to his highest bidder, they are currently considered to be under the service of House Layne. Ever since, their base of operations remains in his County, where they are known to be hired by the Count and his vassals for various tasks - ranging from accompanying traveling caravans to providing additional security when needed. The Company is well known for honoring the contracts they sign up for.
The Worker's Guild of Rahlmont is an organisation established by a group of builders, stonemasons and architects associated with House Layne and the industrial branch of Terenia. It has been formed to promote unity amongst the County's working class. They strive to provide jobs and fair wages to those that are capable and willing to put in the work. They organize various construction projects, being hired by the local aristocrats and often by the Count himself to assist in building out Rahlmont's infrastructure and defenses. The Guild operates all throughout the County, and looks for workers, crafters and other able bodied indivduals. It doesn't only offer them a way to live off of their craft, but also for their work to be meaningful and contribute to the growth and prosperity of Rahlmont.
The Rahlmont Trading Company is a business venture started in recent years, working with different kinds of wares and products which are sold all throughout the land to consumers, other businesses and for government purposes. Its intended purpose is to accumulate wealth, as well as fostering trade and a healthy market within the County of Rahlmont. A lot of the local hamlets and villages have benefited greatly by selling their fruits of labor to the company, getting paid a fair amount for them - meat, grain, dairy products and much more. Some of it gets sold to Watcher's Rock, and the rest will often go to other Counties in Terenia. The company spends its coin on a specialized range of products, and maintains a stock or shop for delivering their goods to consumers. The headquarters of the Rahlmont Trading Company are currently located in Hayford.
