We are the Seat of the Infinite Church of the Limitless Gaze. While most focus on goods and services, We instead focus on our Citizens. Our number one concern are our Brothers. We intend to invest heavily into a society which puts its citizens first and provides them with all the tools to succeed. We intend on doing this through a number of initiatives and outreaches which will help provide for our Brothers. Examples of this are our day labor homes, which in exchange for a set value of work assisting the infrastructure of the county, you will be provided a token which you can exchange for room and board at any of our Churches and Inns which work together with us. We will also be looking to invest in local businesses which show promise and clear viable business plans. If we as a society can hit the ground running then together, through Brotherhood, we can overcome any obstacle.
We are looking for Brothers who believe the success of the community means the success of the individual. Those who strive to work toward common goals even when their work may have them in far off locations bringing Glory in distant realms. Soldiers who understand the Phalanx is greater than the Singular shield. That regiment and discipline will Awe the enemy and assure victory before a single drop of blood is shed. We seek those who can look deeper than the surface and see the underpinnings which lay the groundwork for our society. Those who can see the clock and behold its gears and make sense of their machinations.
The County and the Church are tightly interconnected and while membership is not required to be a citizen it is strongly encouraged and necessary for the higher positions within the county. There is a strict hierarchy which is divided into thirteen positions across five branches.
The thirteen positions and their descriptions are as follows:
Brother- is what we call all those within the realm of the Church. They are those who live within the realm but have not become initiated into the Church proper. They are also those who maintain positive relationships with the Church abroad and those who are seeking to become the initiated. Brothers will make up the majority of Elyrians on Holdings run by the Church.
Neophyte- These are the newly initiated, learning their place within the Church. Many of these members will find themselves part of the Visionary Branch until they find their specialty. Neophytes also will make up a large quantity of members who wish to work more closely with the Church and its endeavors without interest in moving further up.
Pathwalker- These are the members who have become fully initiated and found the branch which best suits their talents. These members form the backbone of the Church and are essential for the Church to function as a whole.
We will provide details of the rest of the ranks in time as we see fit. For now we will end here since these are the most pertinent ranks for the general public.
The five Cardinal Branches of the Church and their descriptions are as follows:
The Visionaries- These are the Brothers with eyes to the future, who manage the Church at large and steer it for the greater good. Most new followers will start here since it will provide access to the broadest range of experiences.
The Pathfinders- These are the perpetual sojourners of the Church. Always exploring new lands and establishing positive relations with new governments. They are the cartographers and surveyors who work closely with the Visionaries and Malleus Maleficarum to decide on new locations for the Church and all of its endeavors. While the Inquisitors face the known enemies of the Church the Pathfinders lead the exciting lives of exploring the unknown and its hidden dangers.
The Ascending- These are the strong and steady foundation which supports the Church as a whole. They are the keepers of the word. Scribes, priests and evangelists of the Church- they are the mainstays of every brick and mortar building and spearhead our many humannitarian efforts
The Malleus Maleficarum – The Malleus Maleficarum are responsible for bringing material form to all Church projects. The broadest of branches covering all craft trades. They are also the great architects and builders of the Church. They are the hammer which brings the beacon of light to this darkened land.
The Inquisition- The Black Hand responsible for ridding the world of madness and disorder. They wade deep into the tainted realms so that their Brothers may live in the white radiant light of the Church. Protectors of the innocent and safeguards against the encroaching darkness, ever vigilant they stand.
Der Blutharsch is the Voice of the Church and Commands all Cardinals and Heirophants.
We are based in the Dutchy of Thearyn in the Kingdom of Alesia. As the Church we are however, we are not solely within one dutchy or Kingdom. We have already made great strides to secure positive relations with many others of Royal birth. As it Stands we have positive relations with the Dukes of Alesia and have already started contacting Dukes in foreign Kingdoms. We have also formed mutually beneficial relations with the Church of Thearyn and others. As our standing solidifies and we form more concrete plans with each landed nobility we will further expand on our writing.
