The Shades of Alesia is now open for recruitment!
Those who wish to embark on thrilling and dangerous adventures around the Kingdom either by Bounty-Hunting criminals, protecting traveling merchants & caravans on the roads, or guarding a noble, are welcome here!
The Shades aim to be a kingdom-wide guild, whose first and foremost duty is the preservation of peace in the Kingdom. Members will be trained in combat and learn from their peers, as they prepare to bring law, order, and security to any and all parts of the kingdom, from major cities to small settlements that have little to no law enforcement. The Shades will uphold the laws of the Duchy they are currently in and work with local law enforcement agencies to protecting those who are under threat.
We accept all walks of life and believe in putting talents to use, as we need not only those who will be sent out but also those who will hone their skills of crafting. By hard work, you will move up ranks and be able to complete more and more difficult missions, some of which may directly impact the history of the kingdom.

HIERARCHY
The inner hierarchy of this guild is as follows from lowest to highest:
The Mists - Those wanting to become a full member, or who want to do a single mission, must be accompanied by a Shade ranked player or higher to be accepted for a mission.
The Shades - Full members of the guild. will have the main mission board available to them, may be asked to carry out duties around the guild houses.
The Shadows - Will have high tier mission boards, can bring lower ranked member on a mission. will be allowed to be reviewed for S ranked missions
The Darker - Allowed access to all mission boards, will be asked to do S ranked missions, have access to guild lodgings, and items. May assume some responsibilities of The Abyss. and help in Advising the Abyss or Void.
The Abyss - The best of the best, may be nominated to become branch managers.
The Void - The Guild Master
Mission boards are categorized by guild ranking and produce missions based on the level of difficulty and importance, some of which will have a direct impact on history, and skill, and payment. The more missions successfully completed the higher the member will move up in rank and be awarded the next tier mission board.
Mission Ranks:
--D ranked missions: Difficulty = Easy, A hunt for the lowest level criminal
--C ranked missions: Difficulty = Moderately Easy, Normally, A hunt for a lower level criminal
--B ranked missions: Difficulty = Medium, A hunt for multiple lower-level criminals, or adapt criminal
--A ranked missions: Difficulty = Hard, A hunt for multiple adapt criminals, or a higher level criminal.
Special Missions: S ranked missions are Special Missions, ask of the Guild by the Crown or a Duchy and may have a direct impact on the History of the Kingdom. Only the top tier members (The Shadows or The Darker) may accept these mission, once the members are reviewed The Abyss may accept them for the mission.

--SSS Ranked Missions, Difficulty = Master
Promotions
There are possible routes to reaching higher ranks, (none of them necessarily quicker).
The first route is to start at the bottom of the guild and work your way through the ranks by accomplishing tasks as they come to the mission board. through hard work and dedication, you will work your way up to the top.
The second route is to join with the recommendation from your superior, of a military branch within the kingdom. The more notable your actions while in service, the more likely to start out at a higher rank.
Mission Types
Bounty Hunter: In this mission types the Shades will have to know the laws of the duchy they working their mission, and will be required to work within those confines and alongside local law enforcement, to hunt down and subdue the criminal. Thereafter, The Shades will notify local law enforcement and deliver the criminal to them upon which the job may be completed or the Shade be asked to take the criminal to the Capitol Arena whereupon delivery the mission is completed.
Traveler: In this mission type the Shades will be protecting merchants/caravans as they travel from one city to another or from one duchy to another (only if both duchies are affiliated with the Guild).
Guardian: In this mission type the Shade will be tasked with protecting a person of interest for a determined amount of time.
S class: These missions are considered of extreme importance to the Kingdom of Alesia and as such only members of proper rank will be allowed to have knowledge of their content. In no case is a lower rank member allowed to know the content of these missions. Those found publishing or speaking of these mission without permission will be detained for questioning & receive a swift penalty based on the information given. Shades must receive permission from the Guild Master by presenting their case for why information must be shared.
Affiliated Duchies:
The Duchies listed here have given the Shades of Alesia permission to operate within their territories according to their laws, alongside the local law enforcement and authorities. We will eventually establish Guild Chapter Houses in all Duchies.
