Of the many things Ah’wena citizens draw inspiration from, there are a core trio of focuses: bardic, culinary, and medicinal arts. Those finding their homes in Ah’wena pride themselves in their fine food, intuitive healing arts, and visual, musical, and spiritual expressions of the divine bard within everyone. These elements are layered throughout the settlement. While any craft or trade might be found in the bustling marketplace, those that draw off the wild lands’ flora and fauna or the muse within each Child of Mann are most likely to be represented. For this reason, Ah’wena houses a school, Wena il’g’hanira Samani, where people can come from distant lands or neighboring settlements to study such arts with esteemed educators.
This university is part of a roleplaying friendly settlement. Roleplaying is not mandatory, but definitely adds some flavor! Members of the school are required to respect those choosing to RP.

What are the branches of the school & what can I learn?
Wena il’G’hanira Samani means “Assembly of those who the world inspires” in the language of Tonasyn. We want people to be inspired by what the wild world around them has to offer - but beyond that, we want to titrate a sense of health and wellness down into a fine brew. As such, each branch of the school is an assembly of some sort that focuses on a specific set of skills and trades.

Who are we looking for?
Wena il’G’hanira Samani seeks to recruit students who wish to take up residence in Ah’wena and the surrounding territories. The school is open to those who are willing to pay the required class fees and contribute.
Wena il’G’hanira Samai is actively recruiting faculty for all three branches of the school.
What will be expected of me as a student/faculty member?
Schools in Chronicles of Elyria represent a collection or group of people dedicated to the furthering of education, research, and technology. Organizational structure and funding incorporates membership fees from some students who are required to pay for access to school resources, as well as grant funding from the Kingdom, Duchy, County, or Settlement they reside in.
Housed in Ah’wena, Wena il’G’hanira Saman will be supported in a variety of ways. We plan to charge a reasonable membership fee, support appropriately through taxation, and create a platform in the marketplace and through export for students and faculty to sell the goods that they produce within the school. For those practicing the Bardic Arts, opportunities will be available locally to practice these skills.
Current Leadership
The school is overseen by Arcora Aria Sharizi. Aria also teaches cooking in the Ma’g’hanira Isreva Saman.
Zelcovian Von Linden and Aeselle Vaelthyr are current logistical planners for the school and may be teachers after the university opens.
Please note:
Any professions that are not listed above will be considered prior to exposition based upon player interest and instructor availability.
The logistical aspects will include: the university's layout, building types, current research and development potential. These aspects will be decided by engaging in a faculty board meeting open to all Instructors and Council members prior to Exposition.
