Langerland focuses heavily on the alchemical aspects of life, searching for knowledge in that which is hidden beneath the soil.
The alchemy guild of Langerland is the mayor’s right hand men. Controlling what and which things are cultivated and experimented with at any given time inside the confines of the guild.
Langerland isn’t just for those wanting to delve into the arts of herbal remedies or trickery.
It is also for craftsmen such as carpenters, Apiarists and even dye makers.
Apiarists are a welcome sight in the city of Langerland due to their increased need of flowers blooming around the city outskirts for the delectable nectar that their bees will produce for the towns export to the kingdom in which it is seated.
The increased need of flowers around the city outskirts would also allow the dye making industry to flourish in great numbers due to the ease of pigments needed in their daily toil to make the finest linen and silk that the city can produce.
Langerland boasts an impressive cuisine wherein only the freshest of ingredients are imported from the local harbour towns located nearby. The chipping dips fish and chip shop is there to provide the locals with an easy and fresh way of eating a meal in the quick when there’s a rush for work to be done. The goal of Langerland is to provide the kingdom which much needed silk and linen to clothe the inhabitants all over the realm that require the finest of clothes for their daily lives in the cities be it a simple serf or a high lord.
