Background: After the Searing Plague, many realized that Wine and Spirits serve a purpose beyond coating the pallets of the Aristocracy. There are some that believe that these divine liquids may confer benefits yet to be see within Elyria. These like-minded individuals have come together to form a school of research and experimentation to try and uncover secrets yet to be found within the vineyards of Ashland.
Function: The Society of Wine and Spirits houses itself within the Aeternum Vineyard, a haven for vintners and spiriticians to learn, exchange and experiment in all things alcoholic. The society prides itself in the spread of knowledge and aims to help aspiring vintners learn proper techniques in growing, fermentation and marketing. Master Vintners who are members of the Society can visit the vineyard to exchange recipes with others or experiment with flavors and textures. As the winemaking process can be slow and arduous, members are encouraged to come and go as they please knowing that their work will remain safe. As adamant believers that a glass of wine can break down any walls, membership within the Society is not restricted to those within the glorious Kingdom of Ashland.
