Hey ilhar,

I saw this, as I have seen a couple of these events. I had a slight question, based on everything I have read and seen...

How do you track, and how will your patrons track these gifts you receive. I've seen similar events, but they are not asking for coins, but more or less bumps on their thread.

Do you feel the platform you've taken as someone who wants to discourage 'whales' is staying true to this event that requires would be donates to donate, in the hopes they are one of a few random selected winners in your draw?

Will you announce their names and what you sent them?

Sorry, I'm just trying to understand how you'll follow through with this event you've made.

You get a notice when something is sent to you so you should know if you receive something, Plus the Steam codes are posted openly for whoever is fast enough to get them and use them first, the donations I plan to post at the end openly.

As for the whales, I am anything but, yea it will cost me a little, but I am plenty ok with giving up a little to good charities. Mostly though I have wanted a way to give back and this sounded like a good idea.

It could be cool though if people who have gotten stuff posted here, but thats up to them, the spirit of this is more about giving back to people then anything, I don't even honestly care about the forum bumps, but I need someway to get names to send stuff to people and having them post here seamed reasonable way to do so.

As for the way I choose to send to people I have a system, but if I was to post such then it would make the system exploitable easier and I would have to make a new system lol,

I might also add, I set the event up so that while I give at set intervals, I also toss in a few extra here and there to ensure that someone can't use the rewards to track how much I am actually getting till the end when such is reveled

Also I am against people buying the event wins, I am not against those with cash, only that they use the cash to buy the win for the event rather then competing in the event on fair terms like everyone else.

I think that events are best when everyone knows that if they tried hard enough they could have a chance. For instance NA-E right now, 99.9% of the server could not contend with the number of coins in the first 48 hours. Thus for that server most people simply have no chance to win the event, this saddens me. Specially since one never knows, some of those people might have done great things for the server if they had won.
