If these items are leaving the store, and you want people to buy then, shouldn't they count towards the weekly rewards and progress bar?

I thought the EP one would have dropped several months ago when it was supposed to. but they left it up.
I dont understand the Gift Card option though. That seems like a nice general thing to have for anybody.
Sounds like they are getting ready to transition to Alpha 1.
I can understand taking the $200 EP (3000EP package) as it supposed to be during special events only.
But taking away Gift cards is very bad idea as its the one of the very popular items currently available in your online store.So why kill it that? You put Giftcards because community at large requested that and now you taking this away from said community? What is reasoning behind it?
EP I totally get. Take it out so that when you bring in the EP store you can bring it back or force people to buy EP at the full rate instead of discounted.
But what purpose is served by removing gift cards? That seems like the one item that should remain in place until expo? Like I get you guys are gunna do what you wanna do but this one is really baffling.
Ah well. Looking forward to the third time you add back the 3k EP bundle then.
I would assume the reason they are taking the gift cards away are people people are still trading them after being told not to. I’m not surprised personally, although saddened.

Unless they don't want people to buy them and that's why they're leaving the store. Idk.

Probably as a response to all the gift card trading that's been continuing despite their ToS against it.
