The County of Issaries Bridge (currently The Baker)
Let me welcome you to Issaries Bridge! I am Count Anatol Emaraça and my county seat is the city of Rurik’s Landing (all names pending approval). Issaries Bridge is devoted to happiness and prosperity, always in that order! A high quality of life for the county's inhabitants is the main focus, with the understanding that peace is a prerequisite to happiness. While we understand the unfortunate need for a strong defense, we are not aggressors.
Issaries Bridge, located in the duchy of Moonhaven in the tropical rainforest, has two available towns and three available hamlets, each with a wealth of resources. The towns are in highly defensible locations in valleys nestled within low mountains. Bridgeolive Butte has most every resource you could want, specializing in logging, access to a river that connects it to Rurik’s Landing and other towns, and access to a wealth of minerals, wood, stone, and spices for a good To’resk mayor to exploit! Darkgrave specializes in quarrying and has a wealth of stone and minerals waiting for a good Janoan mayor to manage and take advantage of. Both have caves and dungeoneers already on staff.
The hamlets are all small (15-20 people) with access to resources. One is on the river, all are connected to county towns by road or trail. Two are looking for Janoan village elders, the other could be either Janoan or To’resk.
Rurik’s Landing has a large To’resk, Janoan, and Dras populations living in harmony and will also welcome a wide variety of professions with open arms. In addition to the professions that everyone needs (guards, builders, fishermen, hunters, foragers, smiths, physicians, alchemists, and wood, stone, and metal specialists), the city especially welcomes philosophers, clerks, teachers, scholars, cartographers, and surveyors!

Issaries Bridge might be the place for you if you:
• Are a mature (in attitude, not age) player that enjoys building things instead of destroying them.
• Enjoy role-playing.
• Enjoy the diplomatic and social aspects of the game.
• Want to work in a resource-rich area with other mayors close-by for trading.
• Want to play and adventure in a PvE and cave rich jungle area.
• Enjoy building the defenses necessary to keep the peace.
Issaries Bridge is not the place for you if you:
• Are a rabid PvPer who can’t wait to attack others.
• Plan to engage in aggressive, military expansion.
• Have misogynistic or homophobic tendencies or use that
language.
• Engage in hateful language or actions (in-character, RP biases against particular tribes not in the county is okay).
A bit about me: I have over 35 years of experience in multiplayer gaming (yes, starting in play-by-mail) and have held all sorts of positions in player organizations including leadership, diplomacy, logistics, military, etc. I am an administrator and scholar with extensive experience organizing and managing people and information. I have formal training and experience in mediation and negotiation in the real world, in addition to my game experience in those areas.
