You can claim during settlers of Elyria if you don’t select during the allotted time. If you’re having issues your best solution is contacting support. Always be sure to relog, clear your cache and try a different browser.

hmm, a friend of mine is still able to claim atm - so not readonly at least and he said he can go through the process but it won't finish?

Though maybe i interpret his post wrong

Last I heard, SBS was intermittently allowing claiming because of some server side issue. If that's still the case, then maybe that's what the OP is experiencing? I don't see any official update here or in discord about a change in that status.
