Aversía
The primary goal
To fortify the southern coasts of the Osaurian Accord, and in turn the Kingdom of Riftwood, along with researching and developing technologies to aid in exploration and defense. We will also help secure the land by creating a bounty system to help catch criminals, as well as provide work for mercenaries.
The secondary focus
Along with defense, we have interests in cultivating a strong relationship with animals and nature, to form symbiotic relationships between Mann and beast, strengthening our warriors and making the daily lives of citizens more convenient. Currently, the main animals will be Battlecats, monkeys and an exotic and even more deadly import from the north. There are plans to make an extensive aviary along with a menagerie, so bird enthusiasts are happily welcome.
The third, and perhaps most difficult
Monsters and magic. We wish to find magical creatures and find ways to use them to our advantage. If the magic to create a Lich is discovered, for example, players that wished to live as the undead would have no fear of being persecuted in Aversía. We wish to make use of discoveries like this to help fortify our duchy and advance further in the fields of science. If those that want to play as a “monster,” obey the law the same as every other citizen, they would be left to their peace. Should one decide to give into temptation and become what they’re labeled as, that’s what the bounty system is for.
Job Opportunities
Trade
Trade opportunities will be offered first to those that have proven themselves to be trustworthy and reliable in the past. Aversía currently has multiple connections in Riftwood, Tyria, and Aranor, so any looking to travel and sell wares to other kingdoms will have some fine chances to do so.
We also have quite a few merchant positions in the seat of Anatidae, so jobs are available there for someone looking for a nice steady life running a vendor stall, or perhaps a merchants guild for those looking to grow further.
Research and Craft
Any sort of research is welcome and highly encouraged, especially relating to Animal Training, Alchemy, Carpentry and Shipbuilding.
Seaside
We have many options available if one is desiring a seafaring experience. Boatmen, Sailors, Marine Officers, and Shipchandlers are all available in the small hamlet of Silverhook.
Some more curious options
Speaking of little Silverhook, what makes that hamlet really shine are two of it's top professions: Executioner and Mortician. If one were looking for a more macabre play style, I'd say look no further.
We also have an interesting occurrence of Priests being a top Profession in the area overall, yet they're nowhere to be found in either settlement. It would almost seem they're constantly traveling.
In the seat of Anatidae, there is a note of Dungeoneers, which could be used to expand the caves in range of influence of the seat.
And of course, for those that are the most adventurous, there will be special bounties for capturing magical or rare creatures alive.

Mirrorvale
Aversía is located in the southern portion of Mirrorvale and functions as an Auxiliary State of the greater county area. All citizens of Mirrorvale are considered citizens of Aversía, and vice versa.
