Yes it does. You need 250 influence for a picture.

It has to be a link https and ending with an image file like png or jpeg.

Well when you two do get enough influence you can use a site like imagur to get a link for your profile photo, it also worked for my signature :)

shwanny does have enough xD OP doesnt

Haha right, well for whoever is reading this you can use imagur. Save yourself the frustration I endured trying to figure it all out :p
