Neran / Dras / Waered
The majority of the population within Edenn is understandably Neran, the Grasslands is the homeland of the Neran people and is the biome from which the first Menn and Womenn of the proto-neran ventured out into Elyria many eons ago. Many of the residents of Edenn believe Edenn was one of the earliest dwelling places of early Mann but that is purely conjecture with no concrete evidence.
The rest of the population is now made up of an even split between Dras and The Waered showing that in modern times as populations moved around over the ages there is much more diversity in the region. Although there is a mixture of the 3 tribes all around the Duchy, the largest population density of Dras is located within the Capital City of Inner Sanctum.
The Dual Capital of Inner Sanctum and Covenant
Unlike most domains around Elyria the Capitol City of Edenn is actually a dual Settlement comprising of the Capital of Inner Sanctum and the City of Covenant. These two sister settlements reside beside eachother and both cities expand towards eachother and meet at a halfway point. Both cities are controlled and managed by the Count (Luthor Inglund) and his immediate family. The primary seat of government however is Inner Sanctum and the seat of the families power is located within the Solar Citadel, a mighty impenetrable Palace structure at the very heart of the City.
As much as 54% of Inner Sanctum is comprised of Neran with a whopping 33% comprising of Dras and the remaining 13% being Waered. No other settlement within Anor or even further reaching into the Grasslands has such a dense population of Dras living besides the Neran in a single City, Inner Sanctum is also one of the most populated settlements in Elyria (estimated population: 1,060-1435) adding to the large density of Dras living in the Grasslands. The Capitol prides itself on it's unique makeup and diversity.
Due to the size of the capital and the number of other Cities within Edenn much of the area between Inner Sanctum and Covenant has been specifically zoned for Agriculture, allowing for a vast swathe of farmland to be developed to help feed the people and also ensure a surplus for any seen or unforeseen eventualities.
Rich & Fertile
Being in the Grasslands Edenn is a bountiful, rich and fertile land and the perfect place for developing all manner of farms for growing crops, hunting grounds to harvest fauna products, foraging grounds for other foods and also gathering herbs for medicinal purposes. The abundance of lakes and rivers also allows for excellent fishing stocks that help feed Edenns expanding population. Edenn is always looking for people wishing to become full time farmers and help ensure year round harvests
Agriculture however not only accounts for food but other types of crop and flora which can be utilised in areas such as construction, clothing, industry and even weaponry.

The Anorian Guard and Sanctum Militia
Being a part of the Duchy of Anor means Edenn gets the full protection of the Anorian Guard, the Anorian Guard is the Duchies Military force under command of Duke Arthuras Alduin. The Anorian Guard is responsible for all offensive and defensive military operations and is the backbone of Anors power and might with Baronies located throughout Anorian territory.
On a more local level, settlements within Anor have their own militia to defend themselves and the Capitol of Edenn boasts a strong defensive force called the Sanctum Militia who at all times is responsible for the protection of Inner Sanctum and Covenant.
Other settlements throughout Edenn, aswell as being protected by the Anorian Guard, have their own settlement guards to protect against aggression from an outside force and to police local matters.
The Virtori Faith and Two Fold Queen
Being a primarily Neran territory and being in the Grasslands which is the heart of the Neran civilisation, Edenns Religion is the Virtori Faith. The Virtori Faith is very strong here and many buildings and shrines are erected in worship of this faith. However, due to the large population of Dras and Waered within Edenn and more specifically it's capitol city there is also a large following of the Al'Tifali religion and worship of the Two Fold Queen. This almost equal split between the two religions unique to Edenn within Anor has allowed a strong sharing of knowledge, ideas and ideals and a much higher tolerance of any differences.
Inner Sanctum is a highly religious settlement within the Grasslands and the top profession for the City is Priest with notable professions being Monks. This heavy focus on religion makes Inner Sanctum a key heartland for the Virtori and Al'Tifali faiths and a prime destination for holy pilgrimages.
The official border crossing
Edenn is the largest western most County of the Duchy of Anor and has a direct land border with the Duchy of Darkmoon Steppe and a shorter border with the Duchy of Darkmoon Vale both of which resides within the Kingdom of Tryggr.
This border to another Kingdom can either be seen as a blessing or a curse depending on whom you may ask but for the people of Edenn it is a blessing and gives Edenn and Anor itself the opportunity to open dialogue with it's direct neighbours and work together with them in many areas, it gives the chance for close trade together which can usher in an age of prosperity for both sides.
Edenns Gate is an ancient monument which exists on the border just on Edenns side, it is considered one of the 13 Wonders of Anor. The ancient monument is a giant gate that sits along the main travel route and is awe inspiring to behold. It does not act as a blockade and is simply an old ruin that has stood the test of time.
Nobody is sure how old it is or who built it or why but for the people of today it's a sight to see for travellers passing between the Kingdoms of Al-Khezam and Tryggr.
