Humor as bright as daylight is certainly to be found within the doors of the Arkadian Tavern. None better exists certainly.

There once was a count with a ring,
Who proclaimed he would one day be king.
His supporters, they grew,
And his allies, all knew,
But his doubters did shout out and sing..
They did laugh and then joke,
They expected no hope.
Yet his armies still grew,
And then war came anew,
And his critics laughed not at the rope.
:p
Played around with it a bit. Hope you don't mind :p
There once was a count with a ring,
Who proclaimed he would one day be king.
His supporters, they failed,
And his allies, all sailed,
His doubters did cackle
As the pretender was shackled,
His armies they fell.
as opposition did swell,
And then peace came anew,
as he hung from a yew.
lol ty. You'll probably prefer this:
The once was a prophet in robes,
Who treated the forum to odes,
He preached of a king,
Who fought for his ring,
And covered the kingdom in roads.
By his temple he'd greet,
And proclaim on the street,
That the Gods would ensure a defeat,
Yet in late midday heat,
He forgot to retreat,
Passed out, and the Gods he did meet.
Well done on the poem-off! <- that's a word, I swear. Very impressive of the both of you.

A man lowborn dreamed high, he thought the limit was the sky; A kingdom he claimed, and supporters he gained, "the kingdom and all will be mine!"
Now the world sees his true colours, his men start to seek leadership from others; One of his nobles their true goals did out, as he turned on their beggar-king count, and the kingdom was split between his brothers.
Now a new king sits on the throne of the Zygethia, and ponders whether to rename it Romaria; While the old king now sits on his bum, his noble wife drunk on cheap rum, wondering why he ever did marry 'er.
